Founded by “MacArthur Genius” dancer and choreographer, the company’s inaugural performance garnered a Bessie Award for “blasting open our notions of tap.” Her work honors tap’s traditions but also pushes it forward rhythmically and technically in a way not seen since Savion Glover’s groundbreaking innovations.

SOUNDspace was originally a site-specific work exploring the unique acoustics of New York City’s St. Mark’s Church. It will be adapted for the unique setting and acoustical capabilities of The Argyros. Based in New York, it is one of the hottest companies on today’s dance scene.
