CONNECTING WOMEN THROUGH FILM – A BENEFIT FOR GIRLS ON THE RUN

Girls on the Run of Southern Idaho presents LUNAFEST®, the fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women’s issues, highlighting women filmmakers and bringing women together in their communities.

This unique film festival highlights women as leaders in society illustrated through short films by women filmmakers. The films range from animation to fictional drama, and cover topics such as women’s health, motherhood, body image, aging, cultural diversity and breaking barriers. Films are rated TV-16, but feel free to contact Girls on the Run if you’d like to attend with a younger audience member. Click here for a trailer of the films.
