A former Fulbright Fellow in Detective Fiction at Oxford University, Edgar-nominated Ridley Pearson writes adult crime novels and adventure books for young readers. He has published over 60 novels (including two #1 NYTimes bestsellers) and holds a Guinness World Record. His co-written novel Peter and the Starcatchers was developed for Broadway by Disney Theatrical, collected five Tony Awards, and has been in the top ten of produced plays in the US for over a decade. He is currently working on a series of books for Disney, the tenth novel in his bestselling Lou Boldt Seattle crime series, and a stage musical adapted from his young reader novel, Steel Trapp.
Ridley is a longtime Wood River resident who divides his time between Hailey, Idaho, and the south of France. This talk will be the first in an ongoing series of discussions with members of our own community.
