This year’s Sheep Tales Gathering will present celebrated author and essayist Gretel Ehrlich to share her stories of losing authenticity to land and place, the sanctity of the land and the earth, and her love of the land. She will draw on her time spent on a ranch in Wyoming. Much of this discussion will come from her debut publication in 1985 which was a collection of essays on rural life in Wyoming titled, “The Solace of Open Spaces.”
