An Argyros Original Production, in association with Sawtooth Productions, and featuring local favorites Melodie Taylor-Mauldin and RL Rowsey. Love It! will star some of the Wood River Valley’s most talented artists performing two nights of lively cabaret celebrating the universal theme of love.
Rosanne Cash is on tour with She Remembers Everything, a poetic, lush and soulful collection of songs that reckon with a flawed and intricate world. She Remembers Everything follows Rosanne’s triple-Grammy winning 2014 album ‘The River & the Thread’ and marks a return to more personal songwriting after a trio of albums that explored her southern roots and family heritage.
Isabella Boylston & Friends: Holiday Mix is a festive and eclectic mix of ballet and live music, featuring Wood River Valley native and ballet star Isabella Boylston along with dance luminaries James Whiteside and Calvin Royal III. Jacek Mysinski will bring the music to life on piano and he will be accompanied by the stunning vocals of Kenton Chen.
The Argyros presents a two night reading of Idaho playwright, and MacArthur Genius Award winner, Samuel D. Hunter’s plays Lewiston/Clarkston. The plays were nominated in 2019 for a Drama Desk Award for Best Play. Together the plays focus on two modern-day descendants of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Set at a failing fireworks stand in Lewiston, Idaho, and across the river at a big box store in Clarkston, Washington, the plays LEWISTON and CLARKSTON share the essential question: what is the true legacy of the great American push West?
A yearly winter event the BANFF CENTRE MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL returns this year with four nights of films. Friday, January 31st, Saturday, February 1st and Monday, February 3rd will each feature completely new and different film programs.
