GRAMMY® nominated and 10 time International Bluegrass Music Association Bass Player of the Year, Missy Raines has received this honor more than any other bass player in the history of the organization. She is a singer, songwriter, teacher, sideman, and bandleader. In addition to the Bass Player awards, she’s received multiple awards from the IBMA for Recorded Event of the Year and Song of the Year. In 2019, Missy was featured in The Country Music Hall of Fame as part of their American Currents exhibit. In January of 2020, Missy debuted on the Grand Ole Opry with her band, Allegheny.

Barcelona Flamenco Ballet address the ever present myth of Carmen in their new project. This production of Bizet’s work incorporates new elements that were previously unknown. It goes beyond the traditional conception in which it has historically been categorized and adapts it to the reality of today’s contemporary society.

The vibrant and pulsating energy of Cinco de Mayo comes alive at The Argyros. This celebration will feature two live bands, Los Rivera and Noches de Reve. Los Rivera will play an amazing set of Sierreño, upbeat versions of great classic Ranchera songs. Noches de Reve will play a mix of Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Rock and Latin Pop that will transcend generations. Between the live performances, the dynamic Los Juidos will keep the party going with every rhythm and beat you can imagine.

This action-packed show stars adopted and rescued dogs performing spectacular stunts and breathtaking feats.  Wesley Williams leads the puppies and audience through challenging and comical tricks, as they show everyone who is really boss! Full of surprises and laugh-out-loud canine comedy, this performance appeals to children of all ages.  In every performance, we invite the audience to take part in the show, and maybe even step up on stage!

Sun Valley Music Festival • Winter Season

The Sun Valley Music Festival presents its sixth Winter Season from March 6 to 9. The 2024 Winter Season focuses on “The Romance of Brahms” and offers two chamber music programs specially curated by Music Director Alasdair Neale, featuring pianist Jon Kimura Parker — winner of the Gold Medal at the 1984 Leeds International Piano Competition — and string musicians from the all-star Sun Valley Music Festival Orchestra.
