Born in Sun Valley, Idaho, Isabella Boylston began dancing at the age of three. She trained at the Boulder Ballet, the Colorado Ballet, and Harid Conservatory in Florida. Ms. Boylston joined the ABT Studio Company in 2005 and was invited to join American Ballet Theatre in 2007. She was promoted to Soloist in 2011 and to Principal Dancer in 2014. She has appeared as a guest star with the Mariinsky Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, National Ballet of China, and Ballet Estable del Teatro Colon.
